Maintenance Oversight

The detailed level of knowledge and experience in acquiring and managing aircraft for clients has lead Tobi Mathews to be accepted as a technical coordinator and approved person for maintenance oversight service provision.  An aircraft must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s  approved maintenance program so that the aircraft remains in an airworthy position at all times.  Lateral 4T is able to advise upon the selection of suitable maintenance organisations and to coordinate maintenance arrangements with regard to the aircraft such that scheduled maintenance is undertaken when convenient to the owner’s schedule but without jeopardising the  aircraft safety or invalidating manufacturer warranties.

Aircraft with which Lateral  4T have been involved with the maintenance oversight management, when sold, generally have very little discrepancies revealed on their pre-purchase inspection due to the fact that all maintenance is kept up-to-date and all relevant life limits, service bulletins and airworthiness directives are fully complied with.

It is the obligation of the owner to ensure that the aircraft remains airworthy and not the maintenance organisation undertaking the work, Lateral 4T is able to provide oversight functions in conjunction with specialist engineers to demonstrate complete compliance with continuing  airworthiness management requirements.
